I'm out for a midnight walk. The dogs around here aren't very pleased with my disturbing the peace. Bannerghatta road is rarely this peaceful.

Get a camera phone and enable MMS/GPRS. The rest is easy.

Am based in Bombay but currently in Cal on work.
The city has slowly grown on me though apart from the population density of humans & ambassador cars ;p

Bullshit. Bannerghatta road is the safest place in Bangalore.

(Thought I should explain better; sorry for the outburst.)

I've been going on late night (8 PM to 2 AM) walks in this area for three years. I've gone both alone and with others, but usually alone. I frequently have a mobile phone in hand, and have an SMS conversation in progress. I don't stop walking when I type. I've done this while walking the entire distance from Dairy circle to Hulimavu.

And I've never had an incident that made me concerned for safety.

There is frequently a police patrol on the road, and as [info]ravi and [info]brainz can attest, they are very polite.

Hulimavu maybe (way way closer to the city than the place/area I was referring to). I was talking about places after Kalkere (closer to our college). Its Dark, no lights at all so the stars in the sky look amazing.

Great for walking but we just had someone we know roughed up by two chaps & well to be frank, no police patrol comes that far down the road.

Thought that was the place after seeing the board. They have a checkpost a wee bit down the road. Everything goes on after that lol.
